Using "TWITTER" To Build online Relationships
Hey there everybody...my area of "expertise" has been in Web 2.0 Marketing and using Social Media Platforms.
One of my very favorites is "Twitter". I'd go register right away, and heck, add me as a friend!
Twitter is a "micro-blogging" site. It's considered a "micro-blog" because entries are allowed a maximum of 140 characters. (which, as a side note, it's pretty interesting to see how creative people get with their abbreviations trying to keep it under 140!)
Twitter is an abbreviated form of blogging. You just go in, write a quick update, post a link to a new video or blog post and most importantly, start following other people as they will reciprocate and more than likely, follow you back!
Use the @ symbol and the name of your fellow twitter buddy, to start a conversation with them that all can see.
It's a really cool, fun powerful tool to use to both network and drive passive traffic to your sites, and if done properly, you'll be thrilled with the results you get with this little nifty site.
