For the past 55 years the telephone has been the lifeblood of my Business Activity. As a 10 year the "dial 4 numbers" phone helped me grow my "newpaper emipre" and "Lawn care service". It allowed me to solicit New customers, communicate with my "crew of contract mowers" and more importantly, STAY IN TOUCH WITH THE MOST VALUABLE ASSET, Exisiting Customers.

Realtionship Marketing in definitely not New, but everyone here now posseses TOOLS and Systems that allow things to happen in Scale and Speed never before imagined.

If I could build successful organizations with a Dial phone, IBM Selectric and a Rolodex, there are NO EXCUSES today for anyone with a modicum of Ambition to Succeed at any chosen Marketing Model or Product....

I consider myself a telemarketing EXPERT and am willing to share with all or individuals.

I can second what your saying. No matter what we are teaching here, from Web 2 tactics, to ezine marketing, or maybe article marketing, Press Releases, etc.

It's just a way to build a huge list, and the money is for sure in the list. BUT, then there has to be a bridge into your funnel. 1) Building a relationship by broadcasting (e-mails) to your list via auto responder and 2) Most importantly, I still call my people...you won't hear marketers saying that...but I do.

After being in this industry since 1997, I still connect with people using the phone.

Somehow there has to be personal interaction, so, It's either you doing it, or having a PBA (personal business assistant) doing it...but they need to be followed up with on the phone.

Ditto!

In today's day and age, it is all too easy to "hide behind" the phone and just blast emails, auto-response messages, and lately there are even apps that will blast messages right to the computer bypassing the traditional email.

But if you stop and think about it, when you actually CALL people, it typically results in more SALES and a better, deeper relationship with the other person, so in my opinion, it is well worth the time and effort to pick up the phone and just call them!

daniel here in ireland, i own a small window cleaning company (sole trader) in a remote
area in the very very west of ireland and find it hard to get new clients.thinking of running a lawncare as part of an add on to my window cleaning,

have you any info that may help me get more client and any on lawncare.

Daniel, here is what I did in 1953.

And the same thing I do today.

I placed flyers at the homes in my neighborhood for Lawn care.
I was 10 years.
I also wrapped a flyer around the newspaprers I delivered.

Had so much business had to build 2 more push carts and
buy two more sets of equipment.

Today I am back gardening and have abundance of crop to sell..
So I placed placard at the Senior Center in Town leaving my phone number to call and check supply and I will deliver on the days I go to Town.
Went to town today to mail E-bay sold items and to market. But delivered $32 worth of fresh Produce.

Many will scoff at my silly ventures but they add up to a daily
Tidy sum, which has allowed us to live very comfortably for many years.

One of the local restuarants that I sell produce to, found out
I am a Marketing Consultant and just retained me to
do their Marketing for a year.

I call that the subtle up-sell...
I know I would have found it difficult to approach the new Mangaement straight on as a MC, but a Produce Peddler...easy door opener.

One thought, can you offer a package Deal windows and
Lawn Maintenance.

I love the Maintenance business along with all "service Businesses".

Service to Humanity is the best work of Life, and VERY Lucrative!
People always need clean up, because they are too
busy chasing rainbows.

Always keep your sales funnel full.
